Best Funny Fantasy Football Team Names

It is always a problem every fantasy football season to choose the best fantasy football team name. Everybody gets stuck as this simple decision stays with you for the whole season for everyone to see. I will offer some advice on what to think about when choosing your fantasy football team names. I will look at funny team names, sensible team names, original team names and let you know what i call my fantasy football team. Do not think this is a simple choice and the more you read and think about your fantasy football team name the more likely you are to get it right. If you just want to call your team Dave 007 then this probably isn't the article for you but if you want to hear some great team names then read on.

There are lots of choices for people to come up with funny team names for example sausages, Pompey Pompadoms or Billinghurst Biryani. There are endless fantasy football team names that can be thought of and some with leading team names for example:

When trying to choose an amusing fantasy football team name then try to use part of your name or all of your name with something you love. My friend supports Portsmouth and loves poppadoms hence his team name of Pompey Pompadoms. I originate from Plymouth in Devon and have a Cornish Mother so have often been called Pasty for obvious reasons. After a lot of thinking i settled on the team name Scouting For Pasties which has been hugely popular in the league i play in. Discuss team names with your friends first as you don't want to register the same funny team name. Although fantasy football has already started it is not to late to enter to still compete in this seasons competition. After my rather average start in game week one things can only get better!

Do you wish to have a fantasy football team name that stands out from the rest? It is not easy but try looking at everything in your room that you love to get ideas. I love tropical fish and in particular cichlids of all different types. These fish are semi aggressive when in large communities hence i had a tank full of them and this led to my PlayStation name of cichlidattack. Take a look at your room, office or partner and come up with ideas for names that will leave your friends amazed at your best fantasy football team name ever!

Why not become an icon from one of your favourite films or video games. I personally love Uncharterd 2 and any of the characters from that truly outstanding game would make a great team name. You could always use a character from your favourite book or icon from history for example Henry VIII true love Jane Seymour.

Always be aware of how many characters or numbers you can use in your team name depending on what fantasy football site you are using. Most will allow up to twenty characters of either combination.
